Section 984(3) in Rules under the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910
(3)The Excise Inspector shall cause the drugs to be weighed in his presence, and after satisfying himself that the duty has been correctly paid, issue a pass. The pass shall be in triplicate (Form I.D. 13), one part being retained for record one given to the exporter and one sent to the officer who granted the import permit.
