Section 75(1) in Jharkhand Panchayat Raj Act, 2001
(1)General functions -(i)Preparation of annual plans for development of the Panchayat area;(ii)Preparation of annual budget;(iii)Organizing voluntary labour and voluntary contribution for community works;(iv)Removal of encroachments on public properties;(v)Undertaking relief work during natural calamities;(vi)Maintenance of essential statistics of villages.
