Section 48(1) in The Greater Noida Industrial Development Area Building Regulations, 1992
(1)Private Garage. - The size of private garage in residential buildings shall not be less than 2.75 x 5.40 mtrs. When any room is provided on top of a private garage in a residential building, it shall conform to the requirements of habitable room and if intended as a living unit for servants, the same shall have a verandah for cooking and water closet. The garage if located in the side open space shall be constructed within 6 mtrs. from the rear plot line.
