Section 8(3) in Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Decision of Election Disputes) Rules, 1967
(3)Any person who might himself have been a petitioner may, with in fourteen days of such publication, apply to be substituted as petitioner and upon such compliance with the conditions, if any, as to security, shall be entitled to be so substituted and to continue with proceedings upon such terms as the Election Tribunal may think fit.
