(8)If default is made in complying with the provisions of this section, every officer of the company who is in default shall be punishable with fine which shall not be less than [fifty thousand rupees] [ Inserted by Act 41 of 1974, Section 21 (w.e.f. 1.2.1975).],[and also with imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.
