51. Appointment of teachers by Board.
- No person shall be appointed by the Board as a salaried teacher of the University, except on the recommendations of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes. However, looking to the nature of the work, ad hoc appointment can he made for a period not exceeding six months, in any case.
