Section 41(3)(i) in First Statutes of the University of Udaipur

(i)be responsible for the organisation and conduct of teaching, research and extension work of the Department comprised in the College/Campus or Schools and for that purpose he shall co- operate with the appropriate Director of School to pass such orders as might be necessary in consultation with the Heads of the Departments concerned;
