Section 2(v) in Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Act, 2005
(v)"Veterinary" means the art and science of Veterinary Surgery and Medicine and includes :-(i)the diagnosis of diseases in, and injuries to animals;(ii)the giving of advice based upon such diagnosis;(iii)the medical or surgical treatment of animals;(iv)the measures taken for prevention and control of live-stock diseases; and(v)zoonoses and epidemiology; and
