Section 14 in Gujarat Educational Institutions Services Tribunal Act, 2006
14. Tribunal to have powers of Court.
- For the purpose of exercising its jurisdiction under this Act, the tribunal shall have the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in respect of the following matters, namely:- v of i9os.(a)summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath;(b)requiring the discovery and production of documents;(c)issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses;(d)any other matter which may be prescribed.
