Section 3 in Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Act, 2008
3. Establishment of University.
(1)There shall be established a University by the name "The Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University".(2)The University shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.(3)The Headquarters of the University shall be located within the limits of Chennai or in any place within the radius of one hundred kilo-meters around those limits.
