Nos.1, 2 & 3.

An insurance claim raised by the petitioner has not been settled by the respondent no.1 on the ground that proper documents have not been submitted. The petitioner, however, claims that all documents have been submitted and no further document is required to be submitted.

In view of the Redressal of Public Grievance Rules framed under Section 114 of the Insurance Act, the petitioner has a remedy before the insurance Ombudsman. The petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Ombudsman in accordance with law with his grievance of non-settlement of the claim by the respondent no.1 With such liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Needless to observe, if the petitioner approaches the Ombudsman, he shall make sincere endeavour to dispose of the complaint as early as possible.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this Order, if applied for, be supplied expeditiously after complying with all necessary legal formalities.
