Section 206(d) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(d)a building worker is allowed to work in a cofferdam or caisson after such cofferdam or caisson is inspected and found safe by a responsible person within such proceeding period as approved by the Chief Inspector of Building and Other Construction Works and a record of such inspection is maintained in a register;
