Section 345(6) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(6)The Committee may call for any paper, document, map or data from the Corporation or the Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority or the Commissioner of Police, Calcutta or any department of the State Government or any competent authority and thereupon it shall be its or his duty to comply with such requisition.
