Section 1 in Madhya Bharat Famine (Suspension of Proceedings) Act, 1953
1. Short title and extent.-
(1)This Act, may be called The Madhya Bharat Famine or Scarcity Act, 1953.(2)It extends to the whole of Madhya Bharat.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force from the 1st December, 1952.
