27. Notice to the Claimant.
- On receipt of the claim made under Rule 26, the Collector shall serve a notion upon the claimant requiring him to appear at such place and on such date as may be specified in such notice either in person or through an agent authorised by him in this behalf and to produce evidence, oral or documentary, in support of the claim.
