Section 27(2) in University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009
(2)The State Government shall constitute a Search Committee consisting of the following persons, namely:-(i)Director General, ICAR(ii)Chairman, UGC or his nominee(iii)One nominee of the Chancellor(iv)One nominee of the State GovernmentThe State Government shall appoint one of the members as the Chairman of the Committee. The Secretary to Government incharge of Horticulture Department or his nominee not below the rank of the Deputy Secretary to Government shall be the convener of the Search Committee.
