(1)Any officer who violates the terms of his security bond is, as therein laid down, liable to the forfeiture of the whole or part of his security. No officer shall, however, forfeit any part of his security without the sanction of the Inspector-General.(2)Whenever the Superintendent is of opinion that an officer deserves to have his security forfeited in part or whole, he shall refer the case to the Inspector General of Prisons and set forth fully his grounds for such opinion.
