This petition is for quashing of FIR No.169 dated 03.09.2019 registered under Sections 420, 120-B, IPC read with Sections 5(2), 23, 25 of PC & PNDT Act, 1994, at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, and to stay the proceedings before the learned trial Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the last 04 years, the challan has not been presented.
Learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Angrej Singh, submits that despite issuance of notice three times to the petitioner to appear before the learned trial Court as the challan is to be presented in the Court, the petitioner did not turn up and now the prosecution agency is in the process of issuance of 4th notice for the same.
In view of the above, the petitioner is not entitled for grant of any relief as prayed for.
Dismissed.
