Section 127(5)(a) in The Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006

(a)the petitioner shall be ordered to pay the cost of the respondents therefor incurred or such portion thereof as the Election Court may think fit; and
