Section 31 in The Punjab Stamp Rules, 1934

31.

(i)Revocation of licenses.
- Any license or special or sub-license granted under these rules may at any time be revoked for sufficient reason by the Collector of the district in which it was granted, or by any revenue authority to whom such Collector is administratively subordinate.
(ii)When a license or special license or sub-license is revoked, or expires, it shall be the duty of the person to whom it was granted or his agent or representative forthwith to surrender it to the Collector. If any such license is to be renewed and has been granted in a form capable of renewal and containing sufficient space for the necessary entries, it shall be renewed and returned to the licensee. If any such license is not to be renewed, or if it is to be renewed by the issue of a fresh license, the surrendered license shall be retained by the Collector, and shall be cancelled by effacement under his signature.
(iii)Collector to furnish list of licenses to ex-officio vendor. - The Collector shall furnish the ex-officio vendor with a list of all persons licensed under these rules, and keep him informed of changes in it.
