156.
(1)The Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Raj Ordinance, 1994 is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act:Provided that all the Panchayats existing immediately before commencement of this Act shall continue till the expiration of their duration or till the expiry on such extended period as allowed under the North East Frontier Agency Panchayat Raj Regulation, 1967 in terms of proviso to section 148 of the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Raj Ordinance, 1994.
