26. Powers and functions of the Secretary.
(1)The Secretary shall be the Secretary to the Corporation and the Municipal Accounts Committee and of other Committees, if any, and shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as are conferred on him by or under this Act or as may be assigned to him by the Chief Executive Officer,(2)The Secretary shall be responsible for the custody of all papers and documents connected with the proceedings of the Corporation and the Municipal Accounts Committee and of other Committees, if any, and shall preserve the same in such manner and for such period as may be determined by regulations.
