Section 48(1) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991
(1)The accounts of the market committee and Board shall be audited annually by the Auditor. He may call for such registers, documents and books as may be considered necessary at the time of audit.
