174A. [ Removal of wall or building and recovery of expenses] [The heading and section 174A inserted by Ben. Act 3 of 1915.]. - When a written notice, issued under section 63, sub-section (9), for the removal of a wall or building, or any portion thereof, is not complied with by the owner thereof for the time being as provided in section 171A, the Chairman may proceed to remove such wall, building or portion and the expenses incurred in effecting such removal shall be recoverable by sale of the materials or other things removed.
