Section 29(1) in Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017
(1)Whoever, contravenes the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees and in the case of a continuing contravention, with an additional fine which may extend to two thousand rupees for every day during which such contravention continues :Provided that, the total amount of fine shall not exceed two thousand rupees per workers employed.
