State of Tamilnadu - Subsection

Section 27B(3)(a) in Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919

(a)have regard to-
(i)the plans prepared by the City Municipal Corporation of [Chennai] for the city of [Chennai] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1994.] as a whole;
(ii)the spatial plan prepared by the [Chennai] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1994.] Metropolitan Development Authority constituted under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), for the city of [Chennai] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1994.];
(iii)matters of common interest pertaining to the city of [Chennai] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1994.] including co-ordinated spatial planning of the area, sharing of water and other physical and natural resources, the integrated development of infrastructure and environmental conservation;
(iv)the overall objectives and priorities set by the Government of India and the State Government;
(v)the extent and nature of investments likely to be made in the metropolitan area by agencies of the Government of India and of the State Government and other available resources whether financial or otherwise;
