210. Procedure when plea of payment in good faith to a third person is taken
When, in any suit or proceeding instituted under this Act, against a tenant for arrears of rent, the tenant pleads that he has paid the rent of the holding for the period in respect of which the suit or proceeding is instituted to a third person whom he, in good faith, believed to be entitled to receive such rent, the court shall at the cost of such tenant, make such third person a party in the suit or proceeding and shall inquire into and decide the question.
