638. Power to summon witnesses.
- The Commissioner shall have the power of a Civil Court for the purpose of enforcing the attendance of witnesses and compelling the production of documents and every person required by the Commissioner to furnish any information shall be legally bound to do so within the meaning of section 176 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860).Enforcement of orders to execute works, etc.
