Section 10(4) in The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (General Provident Fund) Rules, 1995
(4)The amount of subscription so fixed may be,(a)reduced once at any time during the course of the year;(b)enhanced twice during the course of the year; or(c)reduced and enhanced as aforesaid:Provided that when the amount of subscription is so reduced it shall not be less than the minimum prescribed in sub-rule (1):Provided further that if a subscriber is on leave without pay or leave on half pay or half average pay for part of a calendar month and he has opted not to subscribe during such leave, the amount of subscription payable shall be proportionate to the number of days spent on duty including leave, if any, other than those referred to above.
