(7)Gain in time. - Officers shall be eligible for gain in time for the purpose of calculating seniority as a Lieutenant on the results of the Passing Out Examination in Cadet Training Ship, the Midshipmen's Seamanship examination and Technical Courses up to a maximum period of 12 months based on the total number of points earned.
