10. Suspension of licence by [Deputy Commissioner] [Substituted for the word 'Commissioner' by section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Hackney Carriage (Amendment) Act, 1964 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1964).].
- The 3 [Deputy Commissioner] [Substituted for the word 'Commissioner' by section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Hackney Carriage (Amendment) Act, 1964 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1964).] may suspend for such period as he thinks fit the licence of any hackney carriage, whenever it appears to him that such carriage or any animal or horses used therewith is unfit for public use.
