Section 358(4) in The City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948
(4)When a person is required to execute any work under the provisions of this Act or under any rule or by-law made thereunder, the [Commissioner] [This word was substituted for the words 'Chief Executive Officer' by Bombay 79 of 1958, Section 3, Schedule.] may, for reasons to be recorded in writing instead of giving him the option of executing it, cause such work to be executed by municipal or other agency under his own supervision, and may recover the expenses incurred thereby from the person liable to execute the work :Provided that the Corporation may, on the advice of the [Commissioner] [This word was substituted for the words 'Chief Executive Officer' by Bombay 79 of 1958, Section 3, Schedule.], execute the work at the cost of the municipal fund.Recovery of Expenses
