CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH

                                         ORAL JUDGMENT

Date: 31-08-2015 Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. Anshuman Singh, learned counsel for the Union of India is present.

On 28.08.2015 also nobody had appeared on behalf of the petitioner, though, learned counsel for the Union of India was present.

The writ petition has been filed seeking refund of Rs. 18,679/- which has been deducted by the respondents.

As per the stand in the counter affidavit, the said deduction was statutory income tax deduction and the petitioner had also not given his Permanent Account Number so as to enable the concerned authority to issue TDS certificate in his favour.

In view of the stand taken by the respondents coupled with the fact that nobody is appearing on behalf of the Patna High Court CWJC No.15255 of 2012 dt.31-08-2015 2/2 petitioner for the last two dates, this Court can only presume that the petitioner is no more interested to pursue the matter. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off.

                                                             (Ahsanuddin Amanullah, J.)
