35. Ordinances.
- Subject to the provisions of this Act and the statutes, the ordinances of the University may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-(a)the admission of the students to the University and affiliated or approved colleges;(b)the courses of study leading to all degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University;(c)the conditions under which the student shall be admitted to the courses of study leading to degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University;(d)the conduct of examinations of the University and the conditions on which students shall be admitted to such examinations;(e)the manner in which exemptions relating to the admission of students to examinations may be given;(f)the conditions and mode of appointment and duties of examining bodies and examiners;(g)the maintenance of discipline among the students of the University;(h)the fees to be charged for courses of study, research, experiment and practical training and for admission to the examinations for degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University, and(i)any other matter which by this Act or the statutes is required to be, or may be prescribed by the ordinances.
