(2)For the purposes of this- rule "fly-shunting" means giving an impetus to vehicles as in loose shunting but with the vehicles unattached (with or without some distance between them), and placing one vehicle (or set of vehicles) on one track and then smartly reversing the points so that the following vehicle or locomotive take the other track.
