Section 29(1) in The Registration Act, 1977 (1920 A.D.)
(1)Every document other than a document referred to in section 28, and a copy of a decree or order, may be presented for registration cither in the office of the Sub-Registrar in whose sub-district the document was executed, or in the office of any other Sub-Registrar under [the Government] [In sections 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 29, 36, 69 (2) and 91 the words 'the Government' Substituted for the words 'His Highness' by Act X of 1996.] at which all the persons executing and claiming under the document desire the same to be registered.
