Section 8(2) in The Sikh Gurdwaras Committee Election Rules, 1959
(2)If a candidate by whom or on whose behalf the deposit has been made, withdraws his candidature in the manner and within the time specified in sub-rule (1) of Rule 12, or if the nomination of any such candidate is rejected, the whole deposit shall be returned to the person by whom it was made.
