Section 15 in The Export (Quality Control And Inspection) Act, 1963
15. Officers and employees of agency to be public servants.
All officers and employees of the Council or of any agency established or recognised under sub-section (1) of section 7 and all surveyors, samplers and employees of testing houses, referred to in sub-section (2) of that section shall, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
