Both the parties are present. As both the above mentioned appeals are exactly the same,
therefore appeals are being clubbed for hearing and disposal.
Information sought:
The appellant sought information on 5 points relating to his CMPF account. Relevant facts emerging during hearing:
Both parties are present. The appellant filed an RTI application on 21.10.2013, seeking the above information. On not receiving any response from the CPIO within the prescribed time period, the appellant filed first appeal. The FAA in his directed CPIO/Regional Commissioner, CMPFO, Bilaspur to provide point wise information to the appellant within 7 days.
The appellant stated that he had sought information about his PF account wherein certain amount was to be transferred from his PF account to pension account but satisfactory reply has still not been given to him. He urged that information on points 4 & 5 of the RTI application should be provided to him. The respondent stated that similar matter of the appellant was earlier dealt by the Commission in case no. CIC/SS/A/2012/002102 and complete information has already been provided to the appellant. He apprised the Commission that till October 2002, the appellant was contributing his PF to a trust called CMALSPF and after the government order dated 08.10.2002, CMALSPF trust and CMPF trust were merged and as a result CMALSPF was required to transfer its deposit to CMPF trust. The PF balance of CMALSPF trust was transferred to CMPF trust during October 2002 and accordingly the PF balance of the appellant was also transferred to CMPF trust. He further stated that each and every aspect of the calculation has already been explained to the appellant and even if the appellant has any doubts, he can submit his grievance to the Regional Office, Ranchi.
Decision:
After hearing both the parties and on perusal of record, the Commission directs CPIO to provide revised reply on Points 4 & 5 of the RTI application to the appellant, within two weeks of receipt of this order, under intimation to the Commission.
The appeals are disposed of accordingly.
