Section 17(1) in Tamil Nadu Right of Children to free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011
(1)The salary and allowances and terms and conditions of service of teachers of schools referred to in sub clauses (i) and (ii) of clause (n) of section 2 shall be as laid down by the State Government from time lo time*. In the case of teachers in unaided schools referred to in sub clause (iv) of clause (n) of section 2, the salary and allowances and terms of conditions of service shall be in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the State Government from time to time.
