43. Spoilt ballot papers.
- A voter who has inadvertently dealt with his ballot-paper in such a manner that it cannot conveniently be used as a ballot-paper may, after delivering such ballot paper to the polling officer and satisfying him of such inadvertence, obtain another ballot-paper in place of the spoilt paper, and the latter shall be [marked as spoilt : canceled] [Substituted for the words 'marked as cancelled' by Central Government Notification No. G.S.R.278(E) dated 4.4.2002.].
