Section 217 in The Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963
217. Duties of municipality in respect of diseases among cattle.
- If in any municipal borough any infectious disease amongst cattle, breaks out or if the introduction of any such disease appears to be likely, the municipality shall take all such measures as it may deem necessary for the purpose of preventing, meeting, mitigating or suppressing the disease or the outbreak or introduction thereof.
