Section 27(3) in The Pepsu Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1955
(3)Where any instalment of compensation is not deposited in a Government treasury or sub-treasury or paid to the prescribed authority within the period of fifteen days specified in sub-section (2), the prescribed authority shall, of its own motion or on the application of the landowner concerned, take steps within one month from the expiry of the said period of fifteen days for the recovery of such instalment in the manner provided in section 49.
