(r)"territorial waters" in relations to the State of Gujarat means any part of the open sea adjoining the coast of the State within a distance of twelve nautical miles measured in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf-Exclusive Economic Zone and other Maritime Zones Act, 1976 (80 of 1976).
