(3)In addition to the powers prescribed in Section 12 of the Act, the Chairperson shall have the following powers and functions, namely :-(a)all such powers and functions as may inherent in him by virtue of his being the head of the University; and(b)such other powers and functions as may be assigned to him by the Board of Management from time to time.
