Section 4(1) in The Chhattisgarh Primary Education Act, 1961
(1)The State Government may, by order, direct that with effect from the first day of the next academic year primary' education shall be compulsory for children of either sex or both sexes within such age groups and up to such class or standard and ordinarily resident in such area within any region or part thereof of which this part applies, as may be specified in the order.
