Section 1(3) in Maharashtra Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1942
(3)It shall come into force in such area and on such date as the [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct:[Provided that on the commencement of the Bombay Land Improvement Schemes (Extension and Amendment) Act, 1958, it shall come into force at once in those areas in which the Hyderabad Land Improvement Act, 1953.] [This proviso was added by Bombay 30 of 1958, Section 3(2).][* * * was in force immediately before such commencement.] [The words 'or as the case may be, the Saurashtra Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1954' were omitted by the Maharashtra Adaptation of Laws (State and Concurrent Subjects) Order, 1960.]
