          The Court : The claim of the petitioners is on account of interest for

 delayed payment of the dues under the latest revision of pay and accounts

 that the petitioners were entitled to.

          The parties say that in similar circumstances an order was made by

 this Court on June 21, 2013 in WP No. 517 of 2013 (Dilip Sankar Das vs. The

 State of West Bengal).

          Since there are several petitioners and the exact extent of entitlement

 of each individual petitioner is not indicated in the petition, the petitioners

 are permitted to submit a representation indicating their exact amounts of

 entitlement within a fortnight from date to the managing director of the

      respondent company.      The managing director will make an assessment in

accordance with law and inform the petitioners thereof. If the managing director finds that the petitioners or any of them is entitled to any amount, the managing director will seek the release of appropriate funds from the State Government such that the concerned employee is paid the interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of payment within a period of five months from date. In the event the interest is found to be due to any of the petitioners but such amount is not paid within the time permitted, the interest will carry interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum for the delayed period.

WP No.514 of 2012 is disposed of without any order as to costs. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
