Section 18(2) in The Chennai Corporation (Superior) Service Pension Rules, 1970
(2)If the service has not been thoroughly satisfactory, the authority sanctioning the pension should make such reduction in the amount as it thinks fit:Provided that the retirement benefits once granted shall not be reduced on the ground that proof of the service not having been thoroughly satisfactory became available after the sanction.
