Section 22(1) in The Karnataka Fire Force Act, 1964
(1)Where any property has been transferred to and vested in the State Government under section 18, every person in whose possession or custody or underwhose control the property may be, shall deliver the property to the State Government forthwith, and until it is so delivered, such person shall from the appointed day, be deemed to be in possession, custody or control of the property on behalf of the State Government.
